W.B. Homes Introduces Full-Service Design Center

North Wales, Pa., (September 6, 2006) – W.B. Homes, a builder of distinctive residences throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh Counties, has introduced a new, full-service design center for new home buyers. The Design Center is located at the W.B. Homes Ashbourne Estates community in Lower Salford and will serve buyers in all W.B. Homes single-family communities.

A full 2,200 square feet in size, the Design Center offers buyers a hands-on, true-to-life experience where interior and exterior materials, colors, textures, fixtures, appliances, moldings, accessories and more can be seen, touched, and in some cases, viewed fully assembled. According to Design Center Consultant Judy Soentgen, "We want our home buyers to be absolutely thrilled with their home. Making the perfect choices is key to achieving that. Our Design Center gives buyers the opportunity to really see their options."

On display at the Design Center are three full kitchens showcasing appliances, cabinetry, fixtures and floors, and two assembled staircases presenting options in railings and balusters. A "Color Wall" displays the spectrum of choices for everything from flooring, countertops, carpet and hardwoods to towel bars and tissue holders for the bath. Four fully installed floors help buyers visualize finished tile designs and a plumbing section offers a broad selection of faucets and accessories.

Choices are also displayed for exterior products including roofing shingles, stucco and brick. The only item not available for full viewing at the Design Center is exterior stone. For that, Soentgen accompanies the buyers to the quarry. "We want buyers to see the full effect of their choices," notes Soentgen. "In the case of stone, we prefer to have them view the larger displays available at the quarry sites. It’s an extra step that assures the home’s exterior will be exactly what the buyer envisions."

While so many choices can be overwhelming, the Design Center’s personal consultation service helps make the process easy and enjoyable. "We take our buyers through the process one step at a time," explains Soentgen. "We start with the exterior materials, then work our way through the inside rooms. The entire process usually takes about five weeks, meeting maybe once a week or so."

The W.B. Homes Design Center is conveniently located on the lower level of the newly decorated Nottingham Country Manor model home in W.B.Homes new Ashbourne Estates community. Ashbourne Estates is located in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, close to Skippack Village.

The Design Center is open Thursday through Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For additional information, directions or to make an appointment, call 610-222-8645.
