  WOW... the house looks awesome. We did our pre-settlement walk through yesterday, and we were both really amazed to see it in its completed state. Being able to see the floors, the countertops/cabinets, the carpet and paint, just all of it together - well, it just looks amazing! The guys really did a great job getting it ready for us yesterday, and we really do appreciate it. Although we have been through the house throughout the whole process, there is still so much to take in. Our realtor, Joanne, came along with us during the walk through; and we really found it helpful that she was there as an extra set of eyes to point out a few minor things - because I was in complete la-la land. At the completion of the walk through, Rick had to (very kindly) remind me that it was time to go, as I would have loved to have the keys yesterday.
  
  I know that I gave you both a few "headaches" along the way, with my panicked/frantic emails, but please realize that this was a long time coming, and I wanted to get it right! Jack, thank you for taking such great care of us and never making us feel that we were ever asking too much of you. Susan, thank you for embracing my family from the day we met, some years ago, over at Ashbourne Estates. Also, thank you for showing me that great piece of granite. It looks fabulous!

• I notified W.B. Homes on 6/8/09 that I had water coming through my driveway in front of my front door and your response was exceptionally quick in taking care of this item and making the needed repairs immediately. The senior project manager, Steve Shaffer, and representatives from Beers Excavating were on the spot by 1:00 pm and the leak was fixed by 4:00 pm.
  
  The level of professionalism and courtesy that I and my wife were shown by all parties concerned was beyond any of our expectations and we would like to say thank you for a job well done and I hope you will let all parties involved know how much we appreciate their efforts.
  
  There are a lot of contractors having serious problems in this current economic down turn but if your staff handles all problems and situations as expediently and professionally as you did this one; I feel that you will be around for a long time in both good and bad times. The caring for the customer is first and foremost in my mind and your office shows the same concern. Keep up the good work !!

  • Lou Ann was wonderful. Dealing with complaints from us "old folks" all the time, she was courteous, informative and made our lives much easier. No complaint was too trivial for her to handle. She never made us feel that we were annoying her. She handled all of our phone calls in a professional, but caring manner. If she was not at her desk when we called, she returned the call almost immediately and got a hold of whoever was needed to fix the problem in a very timely manner. She is a "gem" and you are lucky to have her.
  • As for your Service Department, whoever came to our home to check on a problem went out of their way to make sure the problem was fixed in a timely and satisfactorily manner - whether it be your staff or by the contractor.
