Even though it feels like Spring is just barely getting started, 2018 has been a whirlwind of activity for the team at W.B. Homes so far. With some neighborhoods selling out in record time, others just getting going with their official grand openings, and a few upcoming neighborhoods kicking things off in the early stages of development (Sign up for VIP information here!) the entire W.B. team has had plenty to do during the first few months of 2018.
Most recently, the team attended the 2018 Synergy Awards, an annual awards ceremony held by the Home Builder’s Association (HBA) that recognizes outstanding achievement in new home construction, sales, marketing, and design within Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Bucks Counties. In the words of HBA Executive Vice President, Carla Zapotek, the purpose of the Synergy Awards is to “honor the best in our industry and recognize their hard work, professionalism, design and craftsmanship.”
Although we feel the hard work and dedication of our phenomenal team is represented in the quality of each and every home we build, we’re thrilled to have been recognized for 14 individual awards during the ceremony!

Project Manager of the Year | Bruce Baldus
As Senior Project Manager at W.B., Bruce has earned himself a substantial amount of responsibility in his 21 years with us, which he manages with great care and proficiency. On top of the demanding schedule that comes along with managing 2 active neighborhoods, the beginning development of an upcoming neighborhood, and various commercial and rental projects, Bruce has recently been making time to meet with students from Souderton Area High School’s A.C.E class, a technical class for those considering a future career path within the realm of architecture, construction, or engineering. Bruce periodically invites the class to join him on-site at a commercial office project he is managing and walks them through the building as it progresses through the various stages of construction, offering them the unique opportunity to see real-world construction application first hand.
Overall, Bruce is a truly experienced professional and has become an irreplaceable asset to the continued success of W.B. Homes. His diligence, attention to detail, and critical problem-solving skills ensure that all subcontractor work is completed correctly from the very beginning, allowing him to keep to a strict production schedule and always meet his deadlines.

Much like the land development and construction process, marketing plays an important role in the bigger picture of the new construction process. Between designing neighborhood model homes, managing W.B.’s online presence, developing on-site neighborhood signage and print collateral, and scheduling community events, our behind-the-scenes Marketing team juggles quite a few projects throughout their day-to-day agenda.
