Halloween Fun in LeHigh Valley
If ghouls and ghosts pique your interest, then the Halloween offerings in Lehigh Valley are right up your dark and spooky alley. Don’t worry, for those who prefer more family-friendly jack-o-lanterns and tasty treats there’s plenty for you to enjoy, too. No matter your preference, there’s always something interesting going on, which is just one of the reasons people choose our homes in Lehigh Valley.
Ghost Tours
Start the season off strong with a ghost tour of the Sayre Mansion in Bethlehem. Featured on the Travel Channel’s Ghosthunters TV show, you’ll be guided through some of the most actively haunted spots in this Gothic Revival-style mansion built in 1858. The 60-minute tour ends in the lower level of the mansion where devices are set up to detect any activity going on, that evening. Tickets are $25 per person and limited to 20 people per night on October 13th & 14, 20th & 21st, 23rd, 27th & 28th, 30th & 31st, 2025.
Another eerie outing is the Halloween Ghost Lantern Tour at Crystal Cave held October 10th & 11th, 17th & 18th and 24th & 25th, 2025. Your Victorian-garbed guides will take you through a recreation of the original Crystal Cave tour from the 1870s. With just the glow of the hand-held lanterns to guide you, you’ll learn all sorts of fascinating facts that aren’t a part of the modern tours, including folklore and some spooky ghost stories, including unexplained incidents that occurred inside the cave and on the cave grounds during the 1800’s. Reservations are required.
Family Friendly
The Electrifying Jack O’ Lantern Experience at the West End Fairgrounds takes place Thursday thru Sunday, October 10th to November 1st, 2025. You’ll be in awe of the thousands of illuminated, hand-carved pumpkins in unique displays and you may even get some inspiration for your own Jack O’ Lantern carvings this year!
For some classic fun and treats, the whole family can dress up in their best costumes and head to Dorney Park’s Tricks and Treats. There you’ll enjoy food, drinks, plenty of candy, live entertainment and more.
For the creative kiddos, be sure to visit the Crayola Experience’s Screamin’ Green Hauntoween festivities. Kids can take part in Halloween-themed crafts and there are plenty of other safely spooky events taking place, including trick-or-treating and even a slime-themed show that the whole family will enjoy.
Adult Fun
There are plenty of other events geared to adults who don’t mind real thrills and chills, but to cap off the Halloween season, don’t miss the Zombie Ball! Revive your Thriller dance moves and spend a spooktacular Halloween night with the living-dead dance party at Musikfest Cafe. The SteelStacks’ annual Zombie Ball features DJ AJ Stack spinning Halloween hits from “Monster Mash” to modern numbers, sure to revive the spirits!
