Founder and President Elected Board Chairman at Williamson College of the Trades
William J. Bonenberger, founder and president of W.B. Homes, Inc. of North Wales, PA, was unanimously elected chairman of the board of trustees of Williamson College of the Trades in Media, PA at their September meeting. Bonenberger, who joined the board in 2003 and served as vice chairman since 2005, had been serving as the acting board chairman after the passing of longtime board chairman Wayne C. Watson on July 10.

Bacon Bolt Benefit Event in Hatfield
Justin Strahorn’s entire family ran the annual Bacon Bolt at John S. Clemens Park in Hatfield (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania. More importantly, the Strahorn girls represented W.B. Homes by proudly wearing W.B. Homes hats. The sisters say they love to wear anything W.B. Homes related. We’re just happy to support the communities where we live and work.
Harleysville: Then and Now
Situated at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Wambold Road, the W.B. Homes Mainland Square community is conveniently located near the Lansdale Exit of I-476 and the venerable village of Harleysville, in Montgomery County, PA.
The Harleysville area was settled by the Pennsylvania Dutch in the early 18th century, but the first significant growth came in 1735 with the construction of the Maxatawny Road (now the Sumneytown Pike).

Looking at Lansdale
Mainland Square is conveniently situated near the Borough of Lansdale in Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County, 28 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
Before the North Pennsylvania Railroad arrived in the 1850, Lansdale was largely agricultural. By 1900, its industries included foundries, brickyards, as well as manufacturers of cigars, silk, shirts, rope, iron drain pipe, and glue.
Lansdale has been transformed over the years since then.
